Background
Graine d'Impact is a Lyon-based platform that reinvents giving: instead of one more gift, you offer a pre-funded donation card, and the recipient chooses which charities and projects they want to support. The challenge: create an online giving platform that doesn't look like an online giving platform, making giving desirable and joyful, far from the usual guilt-driven fundraising.
Goals
Design and develop the entire experience, from concept to launch: let a donor freely split a single amount across several projects and charities, manage a charitable gift card mechanism (pre-funded donations) that is a first on an e-commerce base, give partner charities a clear showcase with the real-time progress of each fundraiser, and maintain a warm, premium identity on mobile and desktop alike.

Complete custom platform, from the first mockup to deployment. A reimagined giving journey (exploring projects by charity and by theme, choosing causes, amount of each donation, payment in one go). A system of pre-funded donation cards developed and integrated in-house (custom plugin, no fragile add-on layer) on a WordPress / WooCommerce foundation. Living project pages (progress bars, amounts raised, fundraiser status, automatic updates). A well-controlled back office to manage projects, charities and fundraisers independently. Catalog filterable by theme (Animals, Culture, Education, Inclusion, Health, Social), donor area, secure checkout funnel and dedicated charity pages. Hosting, deployment and maintenance handled by ThorTank.
Results
A complete charitable platform, live and operational, that gives several Lyon charities a shared showcase and gives donors a new, joyful way to get involved. A system designed line by line for a use that didn't exist as such, consistent and ready to grow.
